Jasmine told Nick and Doug about what happened last night with Ophelia before they went to work. She asked them to keep an eye out for her just know case she came back. I couldn’t get out of bed I was so tired. After I talked to Jasmine, Julius and I went out to try and find her, but it’s hard without a scent.
“The guys left for work,” Jasmine said when she came to check on me. “They’ll call off if they hear or see anything, okay?”
“Thanks Jasmine,” I mumbled and I felt her hand brush through my hair.
“My poor boys,” she sighed. “Meeting your mate is supposed to be the best part of our life. And here you and Ryan are, miserable and in such pain. And I thought it was hard going through life without finding mine until I’m well into my forties.”
“I wish I hadn’t known about mates,”
