Chapter Thirty-nine: Mana Skills.

After disturbing the guards for some while, Mia left them as she went inside the building to rescue the slave males and females.

She got inside a room where her dragon eyes had directed her. She could see the auras flowing widely and getting inside the room, she saw that it was total dark inside. But her dragon eyes could let her see clearly in the dark, the slaves are all in totality of thirty five, thirty females and five males.

The slaves couldn't see Mia but she can see them clearly.

To save these slaves, she decided to do something that none of the guards would believe could happen. She will let the slaves also to become invisible. The skill she unlocked a few minutes ago is called invisibility share. The skill is perfect for Mia and the slaves to use to escape from the palace.

The only downside to this skill is that, it uses the life force to activate, which can also be called Mana. Mana means energy or life force and it is an important item to a dragon and to every living things.

After Mia unlocked the skill called Invisibility share, and the system had explained that she can't use it without having Mana. Although the Mana quantity never shows on her power tab, it is because she have no much Mana she could use. Meanwhile, her elemental abilities works with Mana that's why her elemental abilities are yet to be unlocked. The only elemental ability she have is the ice freeze skill that doesn't use any Mana at all.

Before she enter the dark room where the slaves are hidden in, she already use one of her new unlocked skills on two of the guards.

It was the system that had notified her with new messages that new skills have been unlocked while she was playing pranks on the guards.

To test out the skills, she used the first skill called Mana drain on one of the guards and immediately, she felt herself getting powered up. The system notified her of the power that she consumed and surprisingly, the Mana quantity tab appeared among her power tabs.

+10 points of Mana

The cost of the invisibility share costs 50 points of Mana per 50 people and since the people Mia wants to save are just thirty two in numbers, the cost of Mana that she will be using will be thirty two points of Mana. Since the Mana she have is not up to the amount she will need, she decided to drain twenty more Mana points from two guards.

It would be enough for the invisibility share skill that she planned to use.

She enter the dark room and activated her invisibility share skill on the slaves, and each one of them became invisible. Mia went towards the lamp stand and she lit up the lamp so that the slaves might see her.

The slaves were shocked as they saw the lamp being lit suddenly without hearing any footstep nor the creaking sound of the wooden door.

"Who are you!" They all trembled with fear and with a quick inspection, Mia could see that these people had passed through a lot of hardship.

"Calm down everyone. I'm not here to hurt you or cause you any harm. I'm here to help you out of this place." Mia gently said. It was the calmest way she had ever spoken ever since she has been reincarnated as Mia.

"Hmnph." One of the male slaves scoffed at Mia's word. "Are you trying to mock us again. If you know that you can't do anything to help us other than disturbing us with your silly jokes that ain't comforting, please leave us as we are. We have already accepted our fate as a slave." The male said.

"Guys, this is not a joke, I'm really here to save you. You need to get out of here before you would be bid off at the auction house. I have the way cleared out for you." Mia tried to convince them but only a few are willing to escape with her. Actually, the few consists of only females and half of the female slaves are willing to follow Mia. The rest of the slaves had accepted their lots to stay as a slave and Mia can't force them to follow her, so she took the female slaves that are willing to leave with her outside the room with her invisibility share skill making them invisible.

When the slaves saw the guards roaming about, they want to run back but Mia drew them closer to herself and explained to them that they can't be seen by the guards because they are invisible. The female slaves were surprised and they are wondering why she said that they are Invisible, but they decided to ask her later. Their aim is to leave the palace at all cost.

The guards were still looking around for who was disturbing them some minutes ago, while Mia and the slaves passed by them towards the gate of the palace. But it was surprising to Mia that Ajay is being held down as a criminal by the guards at the gate.

'Ohh, this idiot.' Mia thought.
