Chapter Thirty four: The Sparrow Kingdom

"What did she say?"
"I think I misheard her."
"She's the dragon in the prophecy!" A man shouted and they all start laughing making fun of Mia.
"I guess the seer is right. People won't believe what they can't see." Mia said as she activated her transformation skill and she transformed into her dragon form and she flew into the sky.
The people were afraid of what they had just seen. They never believed that there could be any dragon in existence, but now that they see it, they believed.
It was a white dragon and it was the prettiest dragon ever.
"No wonder the girl is so bold." An old man said.
"And she's just as pretty as the dragon." The wife of the old man said as she looked up to the sky.
Mia cancelled her transformation skill and addressed them again. This time, everyone of them bow.
"Long live the conqueror!"
"Long Live!!"
"Long live the Conqueror!"
"Long live!!"
They all shouted and including, Mesa, Mira and the queen, they all bowed down to Mia.
"I guess our work here is done." The seer said, "Come on Mia, let's go to our next destination."
"Why?" We just told the people who I am. "Shouldn't I give them some encouragements and assurance." Mia said.
"Well, be mindful of what you say. There are Arthur's men around, if you stay too long here, Arthur might wage a war against this kingdom. So be quick and let's go." The seer said.
Mia looked into the eager faces of the people. The anger that they had before had calmed down and they are happy that they got a stronger force backing them up.
"O ye people of Gerrard Kingdom, I want everyone to be united. We can only defeat Arthur if we are united as one. The world needs to be saved from the hands of the wicked and we can't do that without being united. Unity is power, unity is a defense, unity is everything." Mia said and they all cheered with gladness.
After the speech, she left to meet Mesa, the one who deserves a lot of explaination. She knew that Mesa would have been angry by now. But surprisingly, Mesa went to hug Mia, she hugged her tightly that Mia almost pushed her away.
"Thank you very much for your help. Thanks for helping not only me but our kingdom." Mesa said.
"But, Les,.. she.." Mia replied but Mesa interrupted her.
"Don't worry, I already know everything. Thanks for helping us once again, Les." Mesa said again and this time, Mia hugged her tightly than Mesa had done.
"Oh, oh, I'm choking." Mesa said and they both laughed.
The seer and Mia are about to leave the kingdom and the queen, Mira and Mesa are there to escort them out.
"Thank you so much, Conqueror and Seer. It's been a pleasure to meet you." The seer said as she bowed and Mia also bowed to her.
They hop on their horses and rode out of the kingdom.
"Bye, see you soon!" Mesa said, waving her hands. Sincerely speaking, she is already missing Mia.
The seer and Mia rode towards the next kingdom, the Sparrow Kingdom. It is the least populated kingdom of all kingdom. But despite their small population, the people living there consists of rich and wealthy merchants, they deal mainly in trading clothes and Jewelries. Their kingdom is the only kingdom dealing with such a trade and every other kingdoms would come, either far or near to trade with them.
Some other people from the neighboring kingdoms would also bring their own goods to the Sparrow Kingdom, to sell quickly and at an high price.
The king of this kingdom has also been captured by Arthur. But instead of the people to find means of rescuing their king, they instead chose the son of the king as their Ruler. His name is Smith, the son of the captured king.
And ever since he has been crowned King, he has increased the price of every trade that is being sold by them and he ordered his knights and guards to collect a calculated amount of money from every person that enters the kingdom, either young or old.
Same thing when you leave the kingdom.
Also, when King Smith started ruling, he added another type of trade to the trade of clothing and Jewelries that they already have. He would bring out slaves and get them bid by bidders. The slaves consist of females and males, both young and old.
Mia and the seer got to the gate of the kingdom and they saw that the knights and guards of the kingdom are charging people an amount to pay if they are to enter. Mia had received a message earlier that her system had returned to normal, meaning she could fight at a full power now.
People from the other kingdoms who had brought their goods to sell were unable to enter because the money charge laid on them was high. Higher than what they want to sell in the kingdom.
Mia was angry as she saw all what they were doing. With all what is happening, this kingdom still have guts to charge people with money before they could enter.
"Is this where we would be going?" Mia asked the seer, unsure if they had came to right place.
"Yes, the Sparrow Kingdom. I know there's a lot to do, but don't show anyone who you are till we find the root cause of this matter." The seer advised.
"But, how do we get in?" Mia said, she had actually forgotten that they have money with them. But the seer, instead of reminding her, told to cut some papers for her.
Mia did so and she handed the papers to her.
The seer took the papers and casted a spell on it. A dim white light shone on the ten paper pieces and the next thing, the paper turned into money, 100 credits, ten on each notes. The seer's hands were still placed on it and she casted another spell. The ten notes of money started multiplying and it became 10,000 credits of money.
After performing all the spells, the seer went towards the guards of the kingdom.
"How much did you bill for everyone, calculate the totality." The Seer said.
