Chapter One hundred: The results of the first segment of the election

As Soon as Mia left, the other nominated contestants start entering the arena, they had seen what Mia did and had chosen to talk instead of displaying the different types of skills that they have.

But their speeches weren't as sweet as Mia's own. Mia happened to be the only female amidst all other contestants. But her fame as the only female amidst the boys had spread around like wise fire. Those who didn't know that she was the only female amidst all other boys, knew and the excitement to know how the election will end was in the faces of everyone.

Will the conqueror win over these seven men, it is a battle for the throne.

The two kids who had dressed up as serving maids had finally seen Greg and Kyra. They took the sleeping wine to the guards to drink but as the guards were about to have a sip, Anabelle caught them and had requested for the wine to be brought over to where she was seated.

The guards felt bad that they weren't able to have a sip out of the wine that the maids brought them but what choice do they have, they are serving the kingdom and Anabelle is like a king over them, so they don't have any more choice.

Roselle, who was staying a bit far away from where they are felt bad that their plan didn't work out. It is a total failure of plan but what could they do anymore. They just have to wait, and maybe find a plan B.

The wine was placed in front of Anabelle with cups that would be used to sip the drink. After placing the wine down, the two serving maids turned around as they were about to leave. But they were stopped by Anabelle.

"Hey! where do you think you're going. You are already acting rude even as a newly employed maid. Who trained you? didn't the person told you to always wait if a food or wine as been served to the master. And, who told you to take these wines to the guards? Is it your superior or who?!" Anabelle shouted.

"It is.. it is..." The two kids were clueless of what to say, if they lie on someone working there, Anabelle will still finally caught them.

While Anabelle was expecting the two kids to answer her questions, a young man had came to inform Anabelle that the voting pool is about to begin. This is the time when the people votes for the candidate they like most.

"Okay, I got it. Thank you." Anabelle said, picking up the bottle of wine as she poured it inside a glass cup and have a sip of a little bit of it. When she saw that the wine was so sweet, she continue pouring the wine till she finally drank a whole bottle of the wine, belching as she drank the last glass. The two kids were still standing in front of her but they knew something bad is about to happen.

"Why.. why are my feeling so dizzy. Am I hungry or what.. Ohhhh, I am so sleepy." Anabelle said as a few seconds later, she collapsed on the floor.

The guards rushed to rescue her falling and as they carried her off the ground, they tried to wake her up but saw that she was deeply asleep. They took Anabelle inside but the guards made sure they arrest the two kids whose maiden clothes were removed, exposing the fact that they are spies and kids. Kids and Spies. Spy Kids.

Also they discovered that one is a male while the other was a female. They were taken into the dungeon, postponing their judgement until Anabelle finally wakes up. The other two kids, Greg and Kyra were also taken to the dungeon so they won't be able to escape from them.

After the first segment of the election ended, the results was read into the ears of everyone and each contestant's name was mentioned to know the amount of voters each got.

Dar, the man who called himself a wizard and a magician, got sixty one votes. It was by luck that he was selected. The first contestant whose name was Min min, got a one hundred and sixty seven votes, it was due to his handsomeness and manly charm.

While Luis got a seventy five votes. Apart from these three, a man was also lucky to be among the first segment winners. His name is Joe, but he call himself cool Joe. He displayed a lot of tricks that could be used when fighting a beast and the people really appreciated him for sharing the information with them, so he got a seventy votes attaining a rank above Dar, the boastful man.

And finally Mia, the queen of them all. She got a four hundred and two votes. The lap between her and Min min's own is so far. Min min had one hundred and sixty seven while Mia had Four hundred and two votes. It really is so far from each other.

Mia really couldn't believe it. She wasn't the type that takes too much thing to heart. She have it in her mind to only talk, if no one would vote for her then so be it. Just as long as they listen to what she tells them. But Mia was so surprised as she saw that the amount of vote she gained was so greater than the ones that the other contestants gained.

She don't know what to do again. She was so happy and for the first time, she felt like she's meant to be a leader and she could change the world to better.

Even though there are some who are starting to gang up against her, angry about her achievement and every thing about her, but still, she won't relent.

This time, she really would be the red beast kingdom next leader. By force and by her dragon Power.
