The royal physicians and doctors respected the queen and the famous prince, Smith so much and when they had told them to make up a lie, they didn't think twice as they knew that there must be a reason why the queen did that. But, out of all of them, only one of the physicians have a different thought. His name is Wenden, he is a middle-aged man with curly hairs and beards. He is at the average height and he's not too fat.
He is making his way to his friend named Harry who deals mainly with the building of chariots and carriages.
He explained what the queen had told them to do and how all other physicians had quickly chosen to follow her orders. All Harry said was that they should wait and watch all what will happen soon. Getting involved as a commoner into a royal family business might lead to a lot of problems.
Wenden couldn't deny the fact that Harry is correct and so he decided to follow his suggestion and advice.
Apart from talking with the royal physicians and doctors by giving them a little bit of bribe, the queen, Queen Pretta had also advised Smith to talk to a few knights so he could hide in one of the carriages to find out the assumed secret kingdom built by the king.
After all had been done, it is now time for Smith to tell the King that he won't be joining the troop to fight in the next oncoming war.
He head into the throne room where he knew that the king would definitely be at that moment.
The king would always resume into the throne room every morning by Nine and by evening, he would leave for the Kingdom's tower that is right behind the palace.
Presently, it was still noon and it is just a few hours to the evening time that the king leaves for the large tower. The king was sitting comfortably in his throne but his mind was focused on something else.
He was thinking of how he would continue his slave trade business while Smith would still be taking part in his heroic job by defeating the Sparrow Kingdom's enemy.
Just as he was thinking of this, the king's announcer had made an announcement that prince Smith was coming to meet with the king.
The king upon hearing this, sat on his throne majestically with a broad smile on his face, ready to have a chitchat with Smith.
Smith entered the throne room and the king was so happy to see him.
Smith bowed down to his father and after some seconds, he stood up.
"Father, I have something to request from you." Smith said.
"Ohh, Smith. I also have some things I want to request from you too. Because of the love between me and you, I've decided to help you out." The king said. "Why don't you go first."
"No, you're the king, you should speak first." Smith said, feeling a little bit shy to speak before the king. He don't know what the king wants to say, allowing him to speak first is the best idea.
"Since you've insisted, I will speak then." The king said. "Smith, I can see that you are the most skillful of all my children, and you are the type that loves fighting all the time. I didn't mean to spoil your mood but I'm just saying that you need to rest. It's not all time that you leave for wars. At least, let your brothers and sisters have an experience on how to fight in wars like you. What do you say??" The king requested.
'Is this a dream?' Smith thought.
This really is more than a dream, what he want to discuss with the king has already been settled by him. He can't wait to tell the Queen what happened.
"No problem your highness. I'm feeling a little bit sick, and I've called for the royal physicians, they gave me the results of what happened to me that's why I've come to see you." Smith replied.
"Really!" The king exclaimed with a little bit of worry on his face. "Tell me about it. Hope it's not much?"
"No, not much. It's just that,.. they.. told me that I-I... " Smith stammered with a fake drop of tears on his face. He was trying his best to act well as someone who had a very bad sickness and is sad about it.
He acted so well that the king was so moved to tears. When the king saw that he couldn't take it anymore, the way is son is sad and unable to say what sickness he have, is making him to feel so thrilled to know what it is, so he ordered one of his guards to bring in the royal physicians and doctors.
A few minutes later, two physicians came into the throne room to meet the king for some discussions about the prince sickness.
The two physicians are all old men and they happened to be among those that got bribed by Smith and the queen to set up a lie for the King.
The physicians greeted the king in a respected manner and the king quickly went to the discussion.
"Physicians, you've been the royal physician some years now. And you know that I'm not a stranger to you. I am your king and ruler, why didn't you inform me of the prince's sickness?" The King questioned the two physicians. Their heads were bowed down to the floor as the king was speaking.
"Your highness, we know we have committed a deadly crime. But, there is something you're not aware of that cause all this misunderstanding.
It is not that we don't want to tell you about it, something happened that delayed us from informing you sooner." The two physicians smiled to themselves as they were about to reveal a devastating news to the king.
"Then, what exactly happened. What is that thing that caused all this misunderstanding?" The king demanded.
