Chapter 114: New friend in a new world.

Her body felt extremely hot right now and she was sweating buckets of water. Mia was feeling sick and thirsty, maybe drinking the juice wasn't a bad idea. But what could she do now, she felt sluggish and weak as her legs bumped into each other. She almost fell while walking but she was able to prevent herself from falling. She couldn't leave the sun cause there are no shelter around, she just have to bear it till a solution comes up for her. Or maybe when they are called to take the test. Let's just hope the place is not sunny as where she is presently.

"Hey, are you okay?" A stranger standing next to Mia said.

The stranger's name was Xander, he had a black, oily straight hair that looks like a punk hairstyle, and sky blue eyes with a sharp jawline. He also stood 5 foot 11 inches tall while Mia was 5, 2. Mia was a bit short in her new body, but she like the way it is. It makes her feel better than being tall like a tree.

Actually, everyone loves short girls, even I love short girls that I talk only and walks to home, girls shorter than me.

"If you want, I can call someone for help?" Xander said.

"It's okay I'm just a little bit nervous about the testing," Mia said as she tried to ignore her tired body and stand up straight. Thanks to the little amount of strength she have or she would have fallen down.

Xander looked Mia up and down. Although it was quite embarrassing, yet Mia let it go. Mia was quite skinny for her age and didn't have a lot of meat on her, it was like she don't eat and right now she looked incredibly weak. Xander thought Mia looked like the type of girl who would have gotten bullied at school and it was the reason why Mia was nervous.

If she was to get a level one rating most likely the same would happen here. She might get bullied and Xander can't help but pity Mia for that.

"Well don't be, I'm quite strong you know. If anyone messes with you, you can come and ask me for Help. I don't snub, feel free to talk to me." Xander smiled.

Mia didn't usually get on with the energetic positive type of person but Mia found it hard to dislike Xander. When Mia thought about her time back at the past world, she remembered how jovial James was but they don't talk much unlike Roselle who is always silent. She realized that she really didn't get on with anyone anyhow.

"The name's Xander," Xander said as he placed his hand out.

Mia looked at Xander's hand, it was actually the first time Mia's body owner would get to meet someone who treated her this way but Mia thought that would quickly change. She had spent a lot of time on Earth to know how things go. They always did once they found out her ability level but for once Mia would like to forget about all that.

"This is a new world, try to make some friends." She thought within herself, smiling.

"My name is...," Mia paused as she shook Xander's hand.

Once the system messages appeared, Mia looked at them strangely. At the same time, she shook Xander's hand the messages came up instantly. She then noticed that Xander still hadn't let go of her hand. Then the system repeated the message once again.

Mia then immediately let go of Xander's hand. The system was clearly telling her that Xander was trying to use his ability on her. Xander himself even had a puzzled look on his face as he stood there still.

"You," Xander said. "What is your ability?"

"I…." Mia paused thinking for a while whether she should answer or not, in the end, she wanted to see Xander's true reaction. "I don't have an ability."

Xander no longer had a puzzled look on his face as if the answer had satisfied the curiosity of his but before Xander could say anything, Nick had made an announcement.

"Will the students, Mia Luck, Xander Mutan, Robin Hughes, Ella Hunter, and Sunny Bell, please come to the front to take your test."
