Chapter 105: Anabelle Explains.

While Mia got prepared for the last stage of the election which she must now win at all cost, Kyra, Greg and Roselle were making their way towards the room of Anabelle. They knew that something would have been going on right now.

But surprisingly, as they got to Anabelle's room, they saw that the hallway was silent and what was more surprising was that the door of Anabelle's room has been unlocked.

"Did she find a way to open the door of her room? Apart from this key, who else have the key to this room, is there a spare key?" Roselle wondered.

She entered the room with the others and what they saw wasn't what they had expected.

They saw Anabelle weeping with her maid patting her at the back.

"What happened to her?" Greg asked, wondering why a grown up lady like Anabelle would be weeping like a kid.

"Anabelle, what happened to you. Why are you crying?" Roselle asked.

"Roselle, Greg, Kyra." Anabelle said and the kids were wondering how she knew their names. She already knew Roselle's name so she wasn't that concerned but how Anabelle knew the names of Greg and Kyra was what was surprising them all.

Even the guards that held them as prisoners and guarded them didn't know their names, then how did she know.

"You guys are wondering how I knew your names?" Anabelle said and the two kids can't disagree less.

"You guys should listen to me. I am a seer just like Seer Liza and I used to have powers like she have." Anabelle replied.

"Used to have? So it means you don't have any power?" Greg said.

"What is even worst is that I can't perform any spell nor magic due to my foolish decision and mistake I made in the past." Anabelle said.

"Really, how come? What exactly happened?" Roselle asked, not believing what she was saying. How could it be possible for someone who was performing magics and spells in the past now fails to do such now. That could only be possible if the person's Mana had been drained completely from his body.

"I am a daughter of Arthur and the wife to the disciple of the supreme creator, Dalki by name." Anabelle said. "My powers is quite different from Liza's own. Although I am the daughter of Arthur, I still have the powers of a Seer. It was all thanks to Dalki, who was a disciple to the supreme creator. He was the one that transformed me into a seer with magical powers.

The thing Arthur my father couldn't do for me. After I got that power, I convinced Dalki to betray the supreme Creator by killing all the disciples under him to gain more powers from their souls. Then after that, we will create our own sect which would act as the third strongest sect in existence.

I had plans to kill my father and if possible the supreme being, so I and Dalki could rule the world as one.

Dalki agreed to this due to the love he have for me, but while he was about to complete his mission, seer Liza who was a rank above him overpowered him both physically and spiritually.

She didn't just gave her a scar on the face but she also took away all the powers of the disciples that Dalki had gained after killing them all. He had no powers anymore due to his failure.

Dalki was furrowed with anger and sadness that he could not face me for how bad he had failed. I felt guilty, if I had not told him to go against the supreme creator, his powers wouldn't have been taken away. He wouldn't have been so sad and regretful as he is.

For years we didn't see each other, but when I couldn't take it anymore, I went to meet my father who I had once plotted evil against as I seek for his help.

I know he is not the type that helps freely but because I'm her daughter, I knew he could still have a little bit of mercy on me. Actually he had a little mercy on me, but that was not the type of mercy I want.

He said if he want to help me out, I must give Dalki my powers and forever, I must not show my face to him or else he will kill me.

I disagreed at first, but later, I finally gave in to his wish and that was how I had no powers. After I left my father's kingdom, I started living among humans, helping them out in one way or the other, unknown to them all that I was carrying a child. It was fifteen years after I and Dalki met last, that I gave birth to a son whose name is David. He's the one who had drove us from the market to the palace." Anabelle explained.

"In every fifty years, I would always change my appearance and David's appearance by drinking the ileus water that Arthur gave me when I left his place. This was to not make people know that I am not an human. Arthur had chosen to take away my powers to give to Dalki. And he had purposely left me with no power so I won't be able to turn Dalki against him the second time.

It was while I was roaming about with David in the streets that I came to meet the seer and she had offered to help me. I agreed for her to help me and by so doing, she casted a spell in this palace, making everyone to treat me like royalty. I don't know what they refer me as but I sometimes hear some of them calling me the queen, or Queen's mother, or ruler, or king's mother, or even the palace master.

Even the maids respects me more than they respect the others, including the king." Anabelle said.

"So in conclusion, that's how I became an official owner of this palace. But something strange happened before I met you guys at the market. I received a call."
