I found myself trudging through a part of the pack that I couldn’t recall ever having been to, my feet feeling so heavy that I could practically feel them dragging on the floor. My skin felt warm, too warm, something that was to thank on the fact that the sun was still shining brightly in the sky, but thankfully, I could see the night starting to creep in at the edge of the horizon. Of course, it wouldn’t help for much, because I was already sunburnt. I knew that I would be red tomorrow. Another thing that the darkness wouldn’t be able to improve, was my navigation skills.
