I found myself staring down at my hands, taking in the way that my fingers were trembling. I couldn’t help but take in the ghostly white tint that seemed to stem at my fingertips, noticing the way that it seemed to fade once it reached the area where my wrist begins. I balled my hands into fists before I took a step back, desperate to put some distance between myself and the stranger, who was now leaning against a tree, laughing in a manner that I thought to be forced. I took in the sight of Matthew and Shane standing on either side of the man, both of their faces looking as white as a sheet as they surveyed him.
