I am currently in my room thinking about the future. I need to make plans for the baby and get ready to be a mom. I could never get rid of it and it also has my genes as much as has Mark's. I will love this kid regardless of the situation. He or she is part of me and will be loved .

For the past two years, I've been helping Tony with the business administration side of the firm but I've also sold at lot of my artwork under an alias.

You could say that i'm a secret millionaire, my artworks sold for millions and although nobody knows who I am.

Agencies tried to get me to do a meet and greet with my fans but I prefer to let my art speak for itself.

Aunt and Tony knows about my alias which is why he blackmailed me into working for him or he'll expose me in front of the whole world. Tony's firm has also done well and is currently one of the most leading law firm in the whole state. He was made lawyer of the year a month ago after winning an environmental case. He loves helping people and i am very, proud of him.

He earned respect for himself and many lawyers fear and admire him at the same time. Aunt also has a chain of organic restaurants she opened with the help of Tony and I. I help her with the business and designing part whilst Tony helps with all the law related issues.

We went from one of the poorest family to the richest one in the neighborhood. Technically, we were always wealthy but nobody needs to know about that right now. I am also successful in both the art world and the business world. Working in Tony's firm got me interested in learning more about law so I decided to do a post-graduation degree in law part-time two years ago and graduated since I was in the advanced class. That is one of the perks of being in Marple university.

I wascurrently thinking of doing a PhD when a knock interrupted my thoughts. I opened the door and aunt walked in carrying a tray filled with nutritious food, from sliced apples to grapes etc you name it. she still had an ear to ear grin on her face.

"You need to eat sweetheart, the baby needs nutrition and so do you. I still can't believe I'm going to be a grandmother" she said excited but I couldn't return her excitement. I didn't mind because i am really hungry. i haven't eaten anything since this morning.

" He was here a while ago" aunt said with a sad smile while making sure that i eat.

"Who was here?" I asked.

" Mark was here looking for you. Tony told him that you left for a job in another country that was offered to you a long time ago but chose to accept it now.?" aunt said with a questioning tone.

" Oh! I see , have you all finished packing? " I asked her.

We are moving to an estate near the lake, we bought it two months ago and it was under renovations for a few months now. We were moving the because of privacy issues we had ever since we became rich and successful. Although they don't know about my artistic side of things, they knew I earned lot of money. There was also a concern over aunt's safety.

People who used to undermine my aunt because she had no money were constantly on her neck trying to be friends with her and it turned borderline creepy really fast.

Tony found the lake house thanks to Mandy his new fling. They were dating but I didn't like her very much. She was as clear as day a gold digger who is only successful thanks to sleeping around. Her reputation is at it is. She is working at a real estate agency.

She was planning on showing us one of the most expensive houses a little further away from the lake manly because of the commission she would get from the sale but aunt fell in love with the lake house on our way to her open house.

Aunt dislikes mandy very much for her disrespectful nature but didn't want to interfer with her son's love life. The lake house estate is very beautiful plus also huge and we had the privacy and confidentiality we need but the estate agent was Mandy's nemesis Linn and she was actually a very nice lady.

Mandy so angry but nobody cared about what she thought.

" Yes we are and so do you, i don't know if you've noticed but your room is empty. Linn has a couple interested in buying this house so we have to move" she said looking at me joyfully eating the snacks she made.

" I guess we have to leave, and yes I did take up a job offer" I said

Aunt narrowed her eyes at me.

"Tony wants me to handle the new restaurants branch opening out of state remember? , your restaurant!!. I need to check the locations and make sure they open without any hitch or to prevent any red tapes. Also to make sure we comply food laws and any restrictions we might face. plus we need to localize the recipes " I said looking at her.

" Oh , I forgot about it. I was too focused on the research about organic farming and new recipes. Have you decided on the new locations?" she asked me.

" Yes, I've been in contact with a few friends and we've decided on New York first and see the reactions first before moving to other big locations" I replied finishing the remaining fruits.

"Alright let's go, let's go home". she said with a big smile.

We got into Tony's SUV and immediately realized the tension between him and Mandy.

" We should break up , Tony. I need someone more ambitious and someone who wants the better things in life" Mandy said.

" You are probably right and for the record, Mr Lee has a bad reputation for a reason. I'll drop you home first and send someone with your things." Tony said.

" No need , I can find my way home." she said and getting out of the car.

" What happened son"? aunt asked him and that is when we learned that she was caught having an affair with Mr Lee.

Tony had her followed because she was acting strange and found out that she was having an affair with his business rival Mr Lee. He knows Mr Lee was using her to get back at him for causing him to lose his case last year.

Mr Lee was a lawyer and 29 years older than Mandy . He was known for playing dirty with the cases. He is narrow minded and petty. He does come from a decent background which is why he remains where he is. We drove towards our new home and I couldn't help but wonder what the future holds for me and my family.
