Gone were the days of worrying about faculty meetings where senior faculty droned on, the days of following antiquated protocols and making sure she didn’t ruffle the feathers of senior faculty even if the faculty in question were verging on senility. The best of all, she was free from Dr. Parkhursts’s leering perusal of her and his occasional advances.
