All the way home, the se*ual tension inside the car made my heart race. The way his gaze swept over me was enough to know what was going on in his mind. His eyes looked extra bright tonight as if waiting for my so-called payment! What would it be?
Would he be satisfied with just a kiss? I didn’t want to dwell on it anymore.
“So, how was your day? Did you like the renovations to the shop?” I blinked out of my dazed state, realizing I hadn’t thanked him for his efforts.
“I loved everything you did, Adonis. Thank you for helping me with the business. It means a lot to me.” He grinned, maneuvering the car towards his house.
