My heart broke as I unlocked my granny’s house for the last time. I didn’t have time at hand to sort through everything and pack up the essentials. I would close down my shop and go away to start afresh, somewhere far. Even my evil father wouldn’t be able to seek me out!
I trudged towards my room to pack up whatever I had. With most of my belongings in Adonis’s house, I had very little to pack up. Next, I sorted through Granny’s belongings when I remembered the key I had found. With trembling fingers, I reached into my handbag and took it out.
