The pain in my body was tremendous as I opened my groggy eyes to look around me. Was I still alive? I hadn’t been able to defend myself when Alpha Valdez Kessler attacked me suddenly from behind with ten rogues. I had heard of his special powers and I knew how powerful he was. His psychic powers always controlled his scent, and his presence, leaving the enemy hypnotized and helpless before him. I couldn’t attack him back while he ripped my body! It seemed a latent force held me back from attacking him. It was, therefore, a miracle that I could seek Augustin’s help. I was indebted to my friend. If he hadn’t saved me, I would have lost my life yesterday.
