Ioness was meditating to unlock some more of her power, while soaking herself in warm water full of Jasmine's fragrance.
" My Lady your father is coming too meet you" one of the maid summoned by Nate came to inform her.
She wanted to know whether Lady wants to meet him or Lady would like to shoo him off.
Ioness opened her eyes, she came out of bath tub while the maid helped her putting clothes on.
She sat on the dressing table while Nate stood behind her drying her long midnight hair with a proud smile on his face . He is the one serving His Lady, not him.
" Ioness, May I come in" Jared knocked on her for not wanted to disturb her privacy.
" You may"
Jared was happy her voice didn't contained hostility like yesterday, that encouraged him. He wanted to bond with his daughter, hence he asked the king to give him leave for a month. Duty mattered to him but family mattered the most.
Jared opened the door and stood stupefied from the scene he was looking right know. Her beautiful daughter was sitting freshly bathed while a 20 year old man with stunning look was standing behind her drying her hairs. His daughter wasn't fazed it was like she is used to it.
" Who are you?!!!!!"
Jared knew that engagement between Prince and Ioness was off and truthfully he was glad. That good for nothing Prince didn't deserve a precious gem like her, he just kept quite because of his duty and because Ioness didn't disagreed. I'd Ioness would've shone a little dissatisfaction he would've broken off the engagement without thinking twice.
And now he could bond with his daughter, but who the hell is he standing behind her and touching his beautiful daughter's hairs.
He expected the man (Nate) to answer but he completely ignored him like drying Ioness held much more great importance.
" He is my butler"
Jared eyes softened as her looked towards Ioness who was looking at him without any expression.
" Oh, leave her hair and water the garden"
Jared wanted this butler out ,he wasn't getting a good feeling from him.
Nate stopped what he was doing. He was about to throw this man from this room but stopped as he heard His Lady speak.
" Let me correct my sentence, he is one of my personal butler"
Jared was shocked,her voice held the dominance of a leader. Her meaning was clear he serves no one but her.
" Do you need something?"
Jared came out of his surprise . Yes, he needed father --daughter time.
" How about we have today's breakfast at a restaurant"
Ioness looked at her father and saw hope, she is not able to decipher what does he want to do.
Nate scoffed, he knew what this father was doing but due to this he'll get less time with His Lady.
" Okay, let me get ready"
Jared gave her a full grown smile and went out of her room.
Maybe he'll be able to figure out this daughter of his.
