We sat down at the table and everyone was there. The waitress came over and took our drink order and gave our group a few moments to figure out what we wanted. I looked through the menu and decided to get a bacon double cheeseburger with a basket of fries. The waitress came back with our drinks and then took our orders.
“I wanted to thank everyone for their concern and checking on me while I was in the hospital. It means a lot to me knowing that you all care.” I say with a genuine smile on my face.
“Well my dear you are our daughter-in-law and our future Luna. We are so sorry that you were taken to begin with. You are the perfect mate for our son. We couldn’t be happier with this pairing. We are all just so happy you are back and safe.” The Luna says with tears in her eyes.
