My heart pounded very fast as I twirled my eyes in every direction to find something to help Jinger out but I found nothing. If he got killed right now by these wolves meant that I was the next prey and I just couldn't let that happen, his muscles bulged as I watched him fight both wolves side by side with an injured chest.
He flung both wolves causing them to fall into the mud, while a grunt escaped their lips but they didn't seem to give up as they got on their feet with fire blazing in their eyes. I bit my fingertip in confusion while my eyes still roamed around until I instantly noticed a stone lying beside a tree__ I tried to ignore the pain in my feet as I limped toward the stone.
