Chapter 10
“We made the news,” Richard said.
“Better not have,” Kel retorted as he came out of the bedroom Wednesday morning.
“Don’t worry. We’re ‘concerned citizens’ who noticed strange activity going on in what the reporter called ‘the third floor of a rundown building Giffard was using as a hideout in one of the less reputable areas of the city.’”
“I bet the owner of Hi-Tec Toys isn’t too happy with that description.”
“Probably not,” Richard agreed before going into the kitchen to fix breakfast.
“No kiss?” Kel appeared to be upset as he followed him, until Richard pointed out they’d kissed more times than was probably necessary while making morning love. Kel laughed. “There’s no such thing as too many.”
Richard grinned, pulled him close to kiss him…again…and then looked in the
