I pulled my mate and brother behind me and turned towards the sound. The sound of heavy breathing hit my ears, like the person had run a long way.
"Who's there? What do you want with us?" The breathing pauses, like they have taken a breath, "my children? is that you?"
There is a click, like a finger snap and a light appears surrounding a woman. I sighed and loosened my grip on Indi and Hawk, "Mother Selene?"
She rushes towards us and kneels beside us, "Thank goodness I have found you. I tried to bring the three of you to my garden, but I lost you."
Enveloping us in a hug as she shivered, "Where are we, mother?" I whispered, she sighed, "we are in the catacombs above the underworld, I do not know how you got here, but I think it is because of what your coven friends released"
