CHP 5: BETROTHAL

When Alex entered the living room, he was surprised by what he saw 15 females and two mature men that were smiling at him, and by their dressing, he knew they were all nobles.
"Mom, what is going on here?"
"Sigh...you see Alex, the king said you should choose one of the princesses to be your fiance," Dorcas replied.
"B..but mom why?"Alex asked, feeling cheated.
"Young man, the king decided to bestow one of his daughters to you, it's an order for you to pick one of the Princess," one of the middle-aged men said.
"Alex we have to do as his Majesty announces, therefore we won't face his wrath". Dorcas said with a worried expression.
" Ok mom"
Then Alex began to use his eyes to scan all of the Princesses, some were looking at him with contempt, but Alex didn't mind their gaze. He searched them thoroughly but he was confused with the one to choose from.
Suddenly he heard a voice in his head.
[Master chooses that one who is trying to avoid your gaze. If you look at her very well she is different from the others] Ivor said.
(Chirp, chirp) Imani also agreed mentally, even though he wasn't able to talk yet.
The girl was a beautiful petite girl who looked like a fragile doll that could break apart If not handled properly.
Then Alex peeked at the gloomy girl and he pointed at her.
"I choose you,"
Huh!!! The girl was dumbfounded.
"WHAT!!!" The other girls and the middle-aged men exclaimed.
"What insolence, you chose the daughter of a mere slave who just got pregnant for his Majesty" one of the princesses retorted.
"Yes the princess is correct, young lad, you should choose from the beautiful ones" one of the middle-aged men interrupted.
"Young master please they are right no need to choose me," the gloomy girl said with tears in her eyes as one of the princesses spat on her.
"What is your name?" Alex asked
"My name is Kira"
Then Alex walked towards her and knelt in front of her.
" I Alex Jammer the son of Evans Jammer seek your hand in marriage Kira"
The other Princesses' eyes widened with shock as they never expected Alex to choose the daughter of a mere slave.
"I accept" Kira muttered and she started sobbing
Alex, who saw her crying, hugged her and patted her head.
"Thank you very much, Alex," Kira said while hugging him.
The middle-aged men and the princesses were looking at Kira with disgust.
"Hmph, since the boy has chosen his fiancee, we shall take our leave," one of the middle-aged men snorted.
"Ok minister Leo, we are very grateful for your coming," Dorcas replied.
Dorcas also hugged Kira and bid her farewell as she was about to go back to the palace.
"I promise to see you this week," Kira said, and she hastily followed the others to the carriage.
"Mom I feel pity for her, I am sure she is going through hell in that palace," Alex said
"You are right son, her mother is dead, I heard her mother was tortured by other queens till she died" Dorcas sighed.
"Little brother, I think you are so gullible, that girl is mediocre compared to the other princesses and yet you still chose her," Jennifer said while munching her food slowly, with Rino picking the Chicken crumbs from the floor.
"You know nothing so please just keep quiet"
"Youuuuuu... Stop talking to me like that Alex, I am your older sister, show me some respect" Jennifer shouted.
"Hmmm, respect you say but you don't look like the person who deserves it"
Jennifer gritted her teeth, as she wants to curse him here and there, but her mother's gaze wouldn't let her curse.
[Master, you have a beautiful sister and a busty mom] Ivor said while grinning internally
"Thanks for the compliment, but why do my mom's cleavages look big today?"
Gulp!
[Hehe, the master is lusting over his mom, if the master wants to lay his mom, Ivor will help Master]
"You i***t, that's not what I am thinking" Alex retorted.
And he went to eat in the dining room.
While he was gone Dorcas was in deep thought.
"What will I do to solve Alex's predicament, I can't just buy a s*x slave for him, and his fiancee is still naive, sigh... what to do now?" Dorcas pondered and she shook her head and also went to the dining room.
