Chapter 8Another day went by and Jupiter was still missing.
Now Shane was really worried. Jupiter had never stayed out this long. He struggled with it for a while until he finally called the club and talked to Keith.
“Keith, do you think you can handle things until I get back? I’m going out to look for Jupiter. I’m afraid he may be hurt somewhere.”
“Shane, Jupiter has asked for you to stay out of this, so why don’t you? You’re meddling in something that’s bigger than both of us. Besides, what if something happens to you out there? I’m against this. It’s not a good idea for you to go out looking for him.”
“Why the hell not? I’m worried about him. He’s never stayed away this long.”
