Chapter 6Jupiter paced around in the back room waiting for Shane. When he didn’t come, he glanced down at his watch wondering where the hell he was. Deciding he couldn’t wait any longer, he slammed out and hurried through the corridor to the door that opened into the club. When he peeked in, the club was dark with only the necessary night lights on to keep him from knocking anything over when he strode through.
“Shane,” he called out, “are you here?”
Silence.
Where the hell is he?
Finally, he barged in, slammed the door behind him, and ran over to the front window and looked out. When he saw Shane’s Harley parked in its usual spot, he knew something was wrong.
