Early in the morning, after the group of seven had enjoyed their last moment of peace together, the guests began arriving, in a subtle show of power. Cars of all shapes and sizes made their way past the palace gates, some arriving in droves and others, in singles but, they all bore the similarity of having subtle colours. Claire had learned that the elite members of their society, who were shifters, preferred plain, durable cars as opposed to their human counterparts, who enjoyed flashy and expensive vehicles.
