Claire stared down at the small rabbit resting on her thighs and sniffing the fabric of her nightgown, curiously as her scalp was slowly massaged by Kathleen's skilled hands.
Growing up, she had never had a pet because her parents were not willing to take care of one, so she was not the best pet owner.
Gray had been left in the care of Sophia, who had been eager to take care of the little creature, and with everything that had happened, was forgotten by Claire until her maid had reminded her of him.
