It was Everlyn's journal. Since she was a private person, she didn't appreciate sharing her personal feelings with anyone. As I planned on cherishing her dish, I didn't snoop inside to find what she had written. But, I did look at the last page upon which I found a candy wrapper pasted and a heart drawn beside it. It was poorly drawn with good intent. As much as I peeped at the wrapper's design, I began to realise that it belonged to the candy that I had offered Everlyn on the day that we had first met.
