When we got back to where we left René, she's looking at us as if we grew up another head, she blinked her eyes rapidly then shook her head furiously.

"What happen?" I asked.

"N-nothing. I just saw you with different clothes and.." She paused and shook her head once again. "Let's just go home." She finished and grabs the book before snapping her fingers and we arrived at the room with lot of books and my portraits when I was a kid, hanged on the wall.

"Whoa, reney! you made it!" Anna beams, clapping her hands giddily.

"Yeah, a fairy helped me." She mumbles as lowly as she could but it didn't slipped from my sharp ears.

"A fairy? Who—Holy s**t! That b***h!" I exclaimed then fell into loud and triumphant laughters. "She deceived us! How could it happen?!"

"What are you talking about?" Anna asked, while looking at the girl next to her, a girl that you will never heard her mouth shut off, only now. "Naian? Are you ok girl?"

"That b***h, this is not our Naian, this is the mortal Naian." I said while shaking my head and snapped my fingers to retrieve her senses as Naian put her under hypnotism.

"Girls!" Mort Naian exclaimed when she got pulled out from hypnotism and she hugged me but I quickly removed her arms. "J-jen, oh my God! Lisa shot—."

"René, we need to send this girl back and take Naian, we can't let her around with fairies."

"Fairies?" Anna asked confusedly.

"That Jennie from apocalypse era, she's a fairy and so as her apprentices." I said and they gasped, except from Irene who just met and got a hand from the fairy.

"Fairies can hide their essence from vampires." René said chuckling softly.

"Wow, so they are really not that helpless?" Anna asked again.

"Lisa and her dumb squad wouldn't get survive if no one in their squad is sups." I snort and looked back to morts Naian, who's watching us with confusion all over her face.

"Who's coming with me?" René asked and I nudge my head to Anna.

"Me? Why me?" She asked while pointing at herself.

"We're not sure if Naian is still alive because Vampire and Fairies are not good to be in one place, I'm telling you, so I need you to go with René and make sure that Nayeon will stay alive." I explained.

"Wait wait wait, girls. What are you talking about? I'm Naian, why would you take me? I mean, what the hell are you girls talking about?"

"So here's the deal, Morts Naian." I said as I released a soft sigh then stare directly in her eyes to put her under hypnotism. "You won't remember anything, you're not gonna flirt with Lisa again or you'll die." I said lowly and she nod her head slowly.

I turned to René and nod my head at her. She nodded back before grabbing Naian's arm and snapped her fingers, but since she's still unfamiliar to use her ability as a witch, she brought us accidentally and we're back to the place where we've been but this time, we are standing inside the building where The Mortal's squad are looking at us, though there are fears in their eyes, they seem expecting us to arrive.

My eyes shifted to my friend who's tied in a chair and I snort a laugh then look at fairy Jennie then to telepathic Lisa.

"How'd you know?" I asked, pointing at Naian who has her her face in deep frown.

"Our Naian don't flirt with Lisa, but to Jongy and Chewy only. So I immediately found out that she's not our Naian." Fairy Jennie explained and my own squad laughed. "And I smelled the strong stench of a vampire at her."

"b***h, you thought you won?" Anna asked Naian and laughed obnoxiously.

"Just untie me here!"

"Give us back our Naian and we'll give you back the mortal." I said and Mrs. Yoo's face softens after hearing me, negotiating with Fairy Jennie. "Or not, kill her or what, we don't care."

"Jennie!" Mrs. Kimmerson exclaimed annd swat my arm before smiling at the other squad in front of us. "Here's your Naian, we didn't hurt her." She said and guide the mortal to her friends and starts untying our own Naian.

"I swear to God, Jennie." Naian scowled at me after she got untied and brushing her wrist.

"Not all Naians in every parallel world flirts with Malabon." I said and turn my heals. "We need to go."

"o-ok." René stutters and give one last glance at fairy Jennie with soft smile in her lips and bow a little before snapping her fingers and we got back again to our kingdom.

"Why are you in a rush?" Anna asked.

"As I've said, vampires and fairies are not in a good terms, so... yeah." I replied and sat exhaustingly at the leather couch, rest my head and shut my eyes off.

"So what now?" Naian asked after a moment of silence.

"I'll try again." René said and starts flipping the pages.

"Take your time, René. We are not in a rush." I said as I lifted up my head and look up to them but my eyes unfocused as I cann hear faint footsteps then smelled Lisa's scent. "They're back?"

"Who?" Naian asked.

But since the tops scents became stronger as they approach the room where we are, they all looked at the door and waited for it to open.

"Jennie." Lisa called lowly, her voice stern and firm, her face filled with mixed emotions, her eyes were dark and I felt a little fear.

"L-love?" I slowly pushed myself up, not even tearing my gaze away from Lisa's doe eyes. "W-why did y'all come back?"

"We met someone in the mortal world and told us not to go, that's why we're here." She said, voice still deep.

"Who? and w-why are you like that?" I asked worriedly.

Actually, Lisa isn't the only one has her face in grim. The whole top industry, their faces were all serious.

"What happen?" Minari asked the smallest kid in our group, who has her face fell in deep worries. She cupped Cubby's face and lifted up her face so their eyes could meet.

"We met the kid and he warned us not to continue our journey." She replied.

"Who's kid?" I asked and look back to Lisa.

"The one who can sense the danger but couldn't see what it was." Lisa replied.

"You met Lucas?!" I exclaimed, almost a yell, actually, it is a yell.

"Yeah."

"Where is he?! Did you brought him here?!"

Lisa's face changed from grim to confuse and tilt her hed a bit. "No, we didn't, he went back to their worl–."

"Just why?!" I yelled, throwing my hands in the air. "Why you didn't bring him with you!"

"He's in a rush, babe, what's wrong? are you ok?" Lisa pad over me and held both of my shoulders to calm me down. "Babe, it's ok, you'll see him again and I asked him to pay a visit here next time."

"When?!" I asked, still in rage and frustration.

"I don't know, maybe if he have time? Why are you mad?" She asked, her face fell in more confusion.

"I'm not.." I sighs and slumped my shoulder down. "But what is he talking about? Why did he warns you to go back?"

"As I've said, he sensed danger and asked us not to go so here I am." She shrugs and wrapped her arm on my shoulder. "But we still need to go back to mortal world and talk to Dragon, I think he has the answer if what danger it is."

"Lis, we met–."

"We have to go." Lisa interrupts me and looked to her squad. "We'll leave the others here, I'll bring my bodyguards only." She added then turns back to me. "Please don't go out of the castle, we'll be back immediately."

"But Lisa–."

"I'll be fine." She said to cut me off and cupped my face before giving me a chaste kiss and turn her heels. "Anna, you'll come with us."

"W-what? Me? but I need to be here with Irene."

"Oh uhm, o-ok. Then can we bring Satzu instead?"

"Wait what? No!" Anna refused but Chewy nodded. "Are you out of your mind? She's still a kid!"

"But she's with Lisa and she'll go with Michaeng and Chaesoo." Chewy said and Minari snapped her head at Cubby, who quickly turn her head to avoid Minari's eyes.

"Cub."

"S-she'll be f-fine." Cubby stutters while playing her fingers and fidgeting.

Minari heaved a deep breath and exhales. "Ok then, I trust her more than you." She sighs in defeat and Cubby frowns but Minari just stating a fact, their child is braver than Cubby.

"So, we good to go?" Jilian asked, her eyes in Charmaine.

"Just please, take care and protect the kids, ok?" Charmaine said and Jilian nodded her head vigorously before running to her wife and kissed Charmaine in her cheek.

"See you later." Lisa said and leave me another kiss before they made their way to the door and exited the room.

"Are you sure they'll be fine?" Anna asked worriedly.

"Why Jongy ignored me?" Naian asked too.

"The excessive stench of mortal in you was the reason." René said giggling while shaking her head.

"Oh shit." She gasped and run after to her wife.

"Did Seige talked to you?" I asked after Naian vanished from our sight.

"She didn't, she just waved her hand at me."

"And you're ok with that?" I asked.

"Yeah, besides, the full moon is approaching. She needs to distant herself from me, you know? werewolf thing." She shrugs and turn her heels but before she could exit the room, she looked back to Yerry. "Might want to go in the dungeon with your wife and kid? Bring Seulrene with you too and tell her, I'll visit her later, but for now, I need to concentrate in this book." She said before traveling fast and disappear.

The rest of us that left inside the room exchanged glances then shrugs our shoulders.

"Let's go, Yerry." Chewy said and guided the woman to the door.

"Please, no one will go down to the dungeon until morning, I don't want my family to hurt anyone." Yerry said as we nodded our head.

When Chewy and Yerry was gone, the other who left decided to go back to their rooms to have a rest and I went straight to Ella's room to check on my daughter.

"Ella?" I called when I open her door, the room was dark, curtains down, covering the windows, I could smell her but she's not moving nor responding.

Some vamps could see in the dark, we had a night vision and I could see her sitting in the middle of her bed, hugging her knees against her chest, back resting at the headboard, face dipped between her knees.

"Ella." I called again and pad to the bed, sitting on the edge. "Are you ok, baby?"

"I miss dad." She mumbles between her silent sobs.

"Nabi.." I sighs and crawled in the bed, removing her arms that's wrapped in her knees and lift her face. "You know that Daddy just want to help you, right?"

"I k-know."

"And she loves you more than anything, and she's doing this for you."

"I know." she whimpered.

"Stop crying, Daddy misses you too, but she had to go." I cooed and pulled her head onto me. Her arms wrapped on my waist and she continued weeping in my chest while I stroke her back to soothe her. "Hush now, princess."

"You reeked of m-metal."

"I got shot by your Dad, but not your real Dad." I laughed and she untangled herself to look up to me. "Long story but to make it short, we dealt with another versions of us in another parallel world."

"I bet that Lisa is a dumb to shoot you."

"She is." I chuckled. "But she's still that pretty handsome Malabon."

"A Malabon never gets ugly." She said and we both giggled.

I wiped her tears and kissed her forehead before flicking it with my fingers.

"Ouch mom!" She hissed and rubbed it abruptly while glaring at me against the dark. "What was that for?!"

I laughed and stood up from her bed, walked to her window and pushed the curtains on the side, revealing the almost full moon, struggled through the edges of the dark clouds rolling in across a grey sky.

"Am I a bad mom?" I asked after a moment of silence and open the sliding door that leads to her balcony and I walked inside.

"Sometimes yes, sometimes not." She replied honestly and followed me to the balcony.

"Is ot wrong for me to ask for another child?"

"No, it's normal and I actually want a baby brother or sister." She said as she stood next to me and looked up to the dark sky.

"Honestly, I want another kid because I don't want to leave you and Lisa alone." I said softly.

I felt her eyes on me but I didn't dare to look at her and just stayed, I don't want her to see the mixed emotions in my eyes after remembering the words my Dad left to me before smhe went away and joined the committee.

"You'll leave us?" Ella asked.

"You know." I started and released a sigh, I looked up to the sky and smiled softly. "..before you arrived in our life, my death is inevitable but since your dad could change the future, she saved me. The book of prophecy got burned on its own because that is how it supposed to after Lisa changing everything what's wrintten in it, but there's a page that's left."

"And?" She pressed.

"And that is about my death."
