Maria’s POV:
We had another sleepover today, this time also in Monica’s room. We all were chilling and talking about things until Monica pulled me aside.
“What happened between you and Mr. Black?” Monica asked.
As far as I remember, he told me to not tell anyone about our secret relationship especially Monica so I had to avoid her questions how much I can.
“Nothing, we had a discussion about dropping math.” I lied.
“Oh, really? That’s all? Mr. Black doesn’t call anyone up to his office, I thought it was something else. Did he hit or punish you again?” She asked.
“Nope, not after the math teacher scene. He didn’t,” I replied with a smile. There was something wrong with Monica and just like always I couldn’t realize it. Her aura was giving me a deathly vibe.
