Nevio I'm the one drinking today since Chris decided he'd had enough of liquor. I would too if I got some annoying w***e pregnant. Zelda was a stripper in one of our clubs. I use past tense because she decided that someone like Chris couldn't have a stripper for a wife therefore quit. Which wouldn't be a problem if she wasn't an arrogant wench. You know the type that thinks they have a right over a man's bank account just because they spent a night with them? Well she's a hundred times worse. It's not about money but status for her. Chris is a respected person in this country. I guess normal people, those who don't know what he really does, would call him a billionaire. He has a few public companies and properties that act as a cover for the money we bring in from drugs and weapons. The cops call it money laundering, we call it making a living. Every time he goes out, of course thirsty bitches take that opportunity to try and get his attention. Until almost a year ago when Carina came into the picture. I guess a lot of people were jealous of her and why not? She's f*****g hot. Definitely the only person who can handle that motherfucker. But now that she's not here, snakes like Zelda are creeping in, trying to find ways keep her out. Honestly, I doubt that baby is his but I'd rather bite my tongue than say that out loud. He deserves to suffer for taking his anger out on Carina. I know Chris is mad but he won't be like that forever. One day he'll wake up and realize how stupid he's been for staying away from his wife. He's my friend, we grew up together and I would die for him but I hope that by the time he stops acting like an asshole, Carina would have moved on. With someone like Marco. It's public knowledge that that asshole is the most powerful person in this country. He just doesn't bother showing it. Now if someone like that took your wife, what would you do? Any sane person would walk away and admit defeat. Knowing Chris, he'd probably start a war and let me tell you that I won't lift a finger to help him. If he knew how close he was to losing that woman forever, he wouldn't be sulking like a five year old. His mother lied to him and it turns out his worst enemy is his father. So what? Does it change anything? Lombardi is dead. He doesn't have to attend Sunday or Thanksgiving dinners with the asshole. As someone who grew up without parents, I don't think it would matter if my father turned up now. I'm not a child and I don't need him. Why that fucker is so hung up on Lombardi being his sperm donor is what I don't understand. Lifting my glass I swallow the brown liquid, relishing the way it burns my throat. There's no reason for me to complain about anything. I'll just sit here and wait for the drama that will ensue after Carina gets her memories back. I liked her because of her feisty personality. Remembering how she shot Chris when we locked her in the basement has me getting excited. Man, I cannot wait to see how she'll handle Chris and his w***e this time. "Hey papi, would you like to have some fun?" Luna asks sitting on the arm of the chair. She's one of my favorite girls around here. She looks innocent but once behind closed doors, there is nothing her freaky ass wouldn't do. Her dual personality is the reason she's popular around here. "I don't know if I'm in the mood today" I can't remember the last time I f****d anyone. Between our house burning down, Carina getting shot, Chris becoming a drunk and Balloteli, I haven't had a moment to breathe. Then there's Tommaso who won't stop asking why Carina isn't coming back to live with us. He got attached to her, probably because she was the only woman who has ever lived in our house. There are servants but those don't count. f**k Chris for doing that to my son. If their separation has any effect on him, I will never forgive him. "I can get you in the mood if you want" she says running her hand along my thigh. It stops on my already hard c**k and she smiles knowing I was lying about not being in the mood. Damn I need this. It's been too long. Taking a handful of her hair, I bring my mouth to her ear and whisper, "Let's start with that mouth. I want you choking on my c**k" in response, she moans, squeezing me harder. Getting on her feet, she pulls me toward the private rooms at the back. The VIP lounge is separated from the regular one by two black velvet curtains. On our way to the room, we bump into a guest coming in. As the security open the curtains, my eyes happen to wander outside and accidentally catch a familiar face. It's normal to see other people, even our enemies in our clubs because we offer the best services in town. Chris has a rule about not forcing girls to work for him so the ones who work here do it willingly, therefore giving their all to customers. Unless you are sick and get a kick out of forcing whores to sleep with you, then this is the best place for you. But that face I just saw doesn't belong to a man. It takes me a second to remember who she is. Yanking my hand away from Luna, I go back to the entrance and scan the club again. It's a bit dark but if I managed to see her a few seconds ago, then I can spot her again. "What's wrong baby?" Was I hallucinating? "Nothing. Let's go" we find an empty room and Luna gets down to work immediately, her hands unbuckling my belt. However my mind is still on that face. I don't usually hallucinate. My eyes have never had a problem or I would have gotten myself checked. And I'm not drunk so I know there was no way in hell I conjured up that face. Which can only mean one thing. She's back. That b***h dared to come back? To this place? Why today dammit? I need a f**k. Pushing Luna away, I storm out of the room, leaving the poor girl on her knees. She's here. Probably looking for me or another guy. I don't care. The sooner she gets her ass out of this country, the longer she'll live. Chris has what I call a foul temper but I'm not that far behind him. Should I feel cornered, I won't hesitate to kill her. Mainly because I thought I'd gotten over what she did but it turns out I'm still pissed. Stopping in the middle of the club, I look around, scanning the place quickly. And I was right. There in one of the tables is Violetta Costa. She's holding a glass which she tips towards my direction. "What the f**k do you think you're doing?" I ask stopping in front of her. "Having a drink. What does it look like I'm doing?" "I mean here. Why are you here?" "I can't believe you're still angry at me Nev" It's the way she speaks, the don't care tone she uses, as if she suddenly has a right to talk to me like that. Collaring my hand on her neck, I jerk her back so that she's looking up at me. I could squeeze her f*****g neck right here, right now and there's nothing anything can do to me if she suddenly drops dead. The staff will dump her body somewhere the cops can find and they will conclude she overdosed or decided that she was tired of living. That is how easily I can end her. "You f*****g w***e, what makes you think I can't kill you?" "Y... You... Won't. I am.." "Nothing Violetta. Do you understand? You are nothing but a f*****g w***e who I never should have gotten myself involved with in the first place" "Nevio..." "You will go back to whatever hole you crawled out of or I'll put you in one. Decide" "No, I won't stay away any longer" Well look who grew balls while she was away? "Stay away? Did I force you to leave?" We both know I didn't. She just upped and left because she didn't want to be a mother to my son. "No" she admits and I let go of her "Can I see him before I leave?" "See who?" "Tom...." "If you utter his name with that filthy mouth I will have everyone in this room shove their d***s in it so you would know your place" "Just once. I promise I'll leave after that" "You shouldn't have come back to begin with. I will not let you see him and just so you know, he hates you as much as I do. Don't even try to contact him behind my back" "You're so cruel Nevio" "Says the person who abandoned their child immediately after giving birth to them" getting in her face I add "Be gone before morning" then leave. Screw that b***h and every other b***h that has ever abandoned their child. I am not one of those forgiving people. Yes it might be cruel but she has to pay for leaving Tommaso. I don't care about me, it wasn't as if we had a relationship or loved each other. She could have chosen to stay. I was ready to welcome her in our house and start a family for the sake of Tommaso despite the fact that she is just a stripper. But she decided she didn't want to be a mother and left. What makes her think she can decide to come back any time she wants to? Is my son's life a joke to her? Does she know how hard it was to raise him alone? The sleepless nights when he was sick or just throwing a fit had almost been my undoing. If Chris hadn't been there with me, there's no telling what I would have done. I could have become like Lombardi. A heartless son of a b***h who didn't care about his child. Or I could have decided to abandon him too. What would have become of Tommaso then? If she thinks for one second that I will let her back into his life then she's dead wrong. I will die before I let my son ever meet her. I will also continue telling him what a puttana that b***h is so he never trusts her. I won't allow her to gain his trust then leave him again. Too angry to go back to Luna, I decide to head home. Unlike Chris who only walks around with Fabian, I have three bodyguards who come out of nowhere and flank my sides. I like their ability to be invisible but in truth, they can't compare to Fabian. He's a different kind of breed. "Are you going home Sir?" One of them asks proving me right. "No, we are going to bethlehem to visit baby Jesus" I retort kicking the front door open. Damn that f*****g b***h for ruining my mood. I was having a great day before she showed up and I won't be at ease until I know for sure that she's left the country. As I'm getting in the car, my phone rings. Bad timing "The f**k do you want?" I snap at the caller without knowing who he is. "Shove that attitude up your ass Nev" Paulo snaps back. He's the kind of person I'd like to have a fistfight with right about now "I need you to keep an eye out for Carina. If she shows up there, let me know" "You already left the Maldives? I thought you'd be staying longer" "We didn't leave. Some asshole decided to tell her the truth about what happened. She left with her passport so I'm guessing she'll show up there soon" "Wouldn't she want to see the b***h who shot her first?" "f**k, I hadn't thought of that. Just call me if she goes to see Chris. We're on our way back" "Stay out of married people's problems Paulo" I tell him hanging up. If Carina wants to have it out with Chris then no one should get between them. He deserves whatever s**t she gives him. ***************************************** I want to say expect a confrontation but you won't be getting one. At least not from Carina and Chris. The good news is that I always have a twist or two up my sleeve. Speaking of those, how do we like Violetta? Is Nev right to keep Tommaso away from her?
