Asher's bitterness is not hereditary. His dad is actually very nice, polite and kind to me, which seems to bother Asher even more. General Hawke asked me several times if I felt okay and told me to take the rest of the day off to recover, although Asher's gaze told me otherwise, but of course I ignored him and had a pleasant talk with General Hawke where I found out he and my dad are very close. Apparently, Hawke, my dad and two other men were serving together in I don’t remember where because of I don’t know what specific situation and they became very close.
