As she fell unconscious, I quickly grabbed hold of her tightly and pressed her to my chest and ran at a speed I have never run before. I dashed passed all the pack members while slowly growling at them to give me space, who had curious looks on their face. But I shrugged them off. The only person that had all my attention was the girl in my arms, my mate.
I reached the pack clinic and I brought my mate inside as I laid her in one of the empty beds that the doctor, Andy, had told me. I had mind-linked him earlier about the situation. He went to examine her. As he was about to touch her, I growled out, not wanting another male to touch what's mine.
