Walking back to the girls, Liam noticed that the small group of bystanders that had gathered was slowly starting to move on. A few of them were still gawking, but staying away. Brian watched Liam as if sizing him up. "Why don't we find a quiet place to have lunch and talk?" Liam suggested.
Brian nodded and stood between the two girls. Liam could feel Stuart tensing up and he put his hand on his friend's arm. Liam himself was fighting the urge to pull Vienna back into his arms and hold her. That was too close and he wanted to kiss her, to hold her, to prove to himself that she was okay.
