Abi’s POV
As we are talking we hear a voice, “Abi?”
“Yes” I reply.
“Get here fast.” I hear a reply.
I walk downstairs and see Noah in the living room.
“Hey!” I reply and hug him.
“You look good!” He compliments me
“Thank you.” I reply.
“Hope you are ready for the weekend.” He asks me.
“Yeah, what about you?” He asks Hazel as she walks down the staircase.
“I would love to join in but I have some weekend plans with my family.” She replies.
“Okay! Enjoy your weekend.” He replies to Hazel.
“Yeah, you guys enjoy yours.” She speaks.
“We will.” Noah replies.
“So how was the sophomore year?” Noah asks as he sits on the couch and even Hazel seat on the other couch.
“I will be back, I will just Dad know that you are here.” I whisper into Hazel’s ear.
She nods and replies to Noah, “As usual crazy. Do you think that our school knows normal?”
I get up from the couch and ask Noah, “Do you need anything?”
“Coffee or a coke would be good.” He replies.
“Pick one!” I reply.
“Coke!” He replies and continues to talk with Hazel.
I walk towards the kitchen grab a coke and get to my father’s office room.
I quietly knock on the door and he replies, “Just a minute.”
“No issues dad just Noah is here.” I reply.
As I turn and walk away the door opens.
I turn back to see who it is and I see my stepmother.
“Abi dear James is calling you in.” She speaks as she is exiting the room.
“Is he really here?” He asks me as soon as I enter the room.
“Yes" I reply to him while I close the door behind me.
“Will he talk?” He asks me as he gets up from the table.
“I have no idea, dad.” I reply.
“Things aside he is still your son and I guess you should be there for him.” I say with a smile.
“Yes.” He replies as he is preparing himself.
“So, let’s see.” I say as I ask him to grab my hand.
He grabs my hand we both walk out of the office.
As we reach the living room we see Liza leaving the room with a smile.
Hope they haven’t had any huge argument,
“Hello, Noah!” My dad says as we approach him.
“Hey, the coke you, wanted.” I reply as I hand him the coke and I take a seat next to Hazel.
Noah gets up from the couch and shake hands with dad and dad wraps him around his arms.
“So, how is everything in New York?” He asks.
“It is good and even came to knew that the apartment in which I stay is one of your friends and you convinced him to let me have that apartment. Thank you, dad.” He replies.
“What about everything here?” He asks and starts walking towards the backyard.
“Hey if you want to stay you are free to stay here, you know that right.” I say.
“No need I will tell my mom to send a driver to get me.” Hazel replies.
“I will just get my bags down.” I reply as I get up from the couch.
I get to my room to get the things that are left.
When I reach down Hazel is on a call with her mother.
That same time, dad and Noah walk into the living room.
“So are we ready to leave?” Noah asks.
“Yes, all my stuff is already down.” I reply.
I can see my father genuinely happy.
“Yes.” Noah replies and even he is happy.
Noah puts my bags in the car while a car gets here to pick Hazel up.
“Hey! The driver is here take care of you guys and have a great weekend!” She says as she sits in the car.
“We will also leave now.” I speak.
“Yeah get in.” Noah tells me.
“Kids drive safe.” My dad says and Liza is waiting to see us off.
“Yeah, dears drive safe.” Liza speaks.
“We will and we are not kids anymore.” Noah replies.
“Bye! See you soon and take care.” I say as we drive off the driveway.
“Hey listen something happened yesterday could we drive to Michel’s place, please. I broke a table there and it was not great.” I speak as I break the silence.
“No issues I will drive you there but can I even ask what the hell happened?” Noah asks me.
“I will tell you when we get back on road after.” I reply.
“Okay!” He replies.
We drive to the street where he stays.
As we pull up Noah speaks, “Say everything with a smile Abi.”
I get out of the car and walk towards the door with freaking flowers in my hand.
Yes, Noah convinced me to buy some flowers.
As I knock on the door someone opens the door.
“Is Mike here? I’m here to see him.” I say to the boy who opened the front door.
“Hey, Mike someone is here to see you.” He shouts.
Everything is still a mess in the house, Jack-ass and others are still here.
“Hey, hope you are alright after yesterday’s incident.” He asks as he reaches the front door.
“Yeah, I am just wanted to say sorry about the table maybe this will help with that.” I reply as I hand him the flowers.
“You and flowers which world am I in.” He asks.
“What world do you think?” I ask.
“A world where Noah exists.” He says as he waves at Noah in the car.
“He is on a call.” I tell him.
“Thank you.” Mike replies and grabs the flowers.
“Hope that will be enough for the table.” I speak as he opens the check on the flowers.
I don’t wait for his reply I just walk back to the car.
Noah steps outside.
“Not done yet!” He asks me.
“Done let’s get the hell out.” I speak.
“Hey, Noah!” Jack ass calls him.
“Hey!” Noah replies.
“Leaving already.”
“Yes, I have some work to catch up on. See you when I will be back.” Noah replies.
“Okay, have a great ride!” Jack-ass replies.
“Thank you.”, Noah replies as we both sit in the car.
“Why the hell are you so good to these people?” I ask.
“Cause I know these people Abi! And that’s what people do.” He speaks and continues.
“You can’t be bad to everyone.”
“Excuse me, I try to be good but people just have assumptions about me.” I explain.
“Leave that what happened that you broke the table.” He asks.
“I didn’t just break the table I hit a boy.” I try to explain.
“Abi are you out of the mind did that boy do something wrong?” He asks me.
“No, he just crosses his limits.” I explain.
As he drives I tell him what happened.
“This Andrew person is not new right? He knew you would do something even then he spoke something like that.” He asks and is confused I get it.
“I guess we need some drinks.” Noah tries to change the topic as my face goes blank.
Hazel’s POV
When I get home. My mom is just chilling on the couch.
“Hi baby, how was the party last night.” She asks me.
“It was great just I don’t remember anything that happened yesterday.” I reply as I sit beside her.
I and my mother just chill and sit on the couch while I get a text from Jack-ass
*OVER TEXT*
“Still asleep?”
“No just got home after Abi and Noah left and I have been chilling.” I reply.
“Yeah, I know that! Abi showed up at Mike’s place.” He replies.
“Why?” I ask.
“She came to give the expenses of the stuff she broke.” He tells me.
“Noah??” I reply.
“Yeah, she even brought flowers.” He replies.
“Ohh so what sup?” He asks me.
“Nothing just chilling with my mother.” I reply to him.
“Ohh down to have brunch?” He asks me.
“Yeah, I even want to talk about what happened yesterday.” I reply and continue, “I want you to tell me everything you know because I don’t remember much.”
“Okay!” He replies.
“So where should we meet.” He asks.
“Maybe I will come and pick you?” I ask.
“Okay, I will send you my address.” He replies.
“Bye, mom I’m meeting up with a friend for brunch.” I say
“Okay, dear have a great time.” She replies.
I get to my room and think about what I would like to wear. Anyhow, I would be driving so I can take to the best place.
I get a text as I’m getting ready it an address.
After I’m done being ready I text Jack-ass “I would be there around in 30 minutes.”
I grab the keys to my car and head towards the place Jack-Ass told me to pick him up.
