My heart dropped into my stomach when I heard the hunter yell, "Take them." Just from the sight of Lily, Landyn, and Conner, I knew they wouldn't be able to fight like they normally could. Even though I didn't know exactly what happened to them, I'm sure I could guess a few scenarios. I'm just glad they were able to find her when I couldn't.
I look over at Zayden, who looked like he was on the verge of having a panic attack. "You are wanting me to shift, aren't you?"
