Lily's POV
I woke up feeling startled once again. This whole passing out after using my gift thing is getting old. I know it's because I'm already exhausted, but it seriously could be potentially dangerous for me and the two goons.
I rubbed my eyes and blinked them a few times. Even with all the trees, the sun felt painfully bright.
I heard Conner voice way too close to my face. He poked me in the cheek with his finger. "Glad you decided to finally grace us with your presence."
I rolled my eyes and sat up. "What me being unconscious wasn't enough presence for you?"
