I couldn't believe Brody did that to me and in front of everyone like that! What was he thinking? He had to know how embarrassing this was for me. I'm a f*****g warrior and gamma blooded. He had to know how ashamed I was that I couldn't do the one thing that was supposed to come easy to our kind. I didn't want anyone to know. I didn't want anyone to look at me like I was weak because let's face it, I've never been that. I'm not the girl with the daggers. I'm the one who mocks their prey before she slaughters them. I'm feared here and from many other packs. If it gets out there that I can't even do this, everyone will look at me differently. How can I live with that? It's bad enough that my own mate looks at me with such disappointment. I couldn't handle the whole pack looking
