Emery Pov
Jasper enters the room first, and turns to me.
"You just gonna stand there, she's awake."
I stand there afraid to see her, terrified to see what they did to her.
"....Emery.... Where's...Emery..."
I shove through the bodies crowding her and her eyes meet mine.
"Everyone out."
All eyes land on my mate, her voice was oddly strong for her state.
"DID I STUTTER...OUT!!!"
She winces and I rest a hand on her arm kneeling beside her bed.
"It's okay baby, they're just trying to help you."
Her eyes turn black and Naya makes her presence known.
"Get them out Alpha."
I stand and turn taking a deep breath.
"We need a moment. If you wouldn't mind, I'll keep a close eye on her."
The doctor gives me a stern look and then ushers everyone out.
