Gin Pov
I ran off to the gardens, I felt bad leaving Emery, but I need space. The plants and nature make me feel at peace. I kick off my shoes and pad my way to the dense back half of gardens, that are pretty darn close to being a forest. I find a small area surrounded by tall grass and various fruit trees. I lay down in the soft foliage and stare up at the pale blue sky. Even nature reminds me of him.
I close my eyes and focus on the whispers of the breeze brushing through the grass and the hushed drone of well hidden crickets and frogs. I readily accept the energy passing through the earth into my pleasantly chilled flesh. My stomach aches for Emery's presence but I crave this.
"Gin, we have a guest."
That odd voice in my head alerts me to The young man, Eric I believe approaching.
