Trinity and Kal dozed off together in the woods but woke suddenly when the alarms surrounding the pack house started going off. They both sprung into action and raced towards the loud alarm as fast as their bodies could take them. About halfway there Kal told Trinity, through their wolves mind link, to go check on his mother first then meet him back at the pack house. She was all alone out closer to the border and he needed to know she was safe. She broke to the left and headed towards her cottage while Kal went to assess the damage going on around the pack house.
