Laura called the police and after that she took the gift outside.. she did not trash it because the cops would need the evidence but Hailey was too shaken to speak. She sat on the sofa hugging her legs and Laura brought her some water then sat next to her.
"We will soon find out who sent that."
She said gently rubbing her back to soothe her. Hailey turned to her and even though she was not crying, she had this disturbed look in her eyes..
