Abby was now getting worried. Morning runs did not last that long and she was beginning to think that something could have happened to her mother because she was not picking her calls. She tried several times but it was ringing without an answer. She paced in the living room nervously and when Becky walked in from the bedroom she stopped abruptly and immediately Becky noticed the look in her face. Lately being around Abby was like walking on hot charcoal. She was mad all the time and whenever she was asked if there was a problem she would say she was okay.
"I think something must have happened to my mum."
