Joseph and Damian were born fraternal twins, and that meant that even though they were born on the same day, the resemblance was slim. Joseph was tall, with a thick muscular body and broad shoulders. His skin was tan, and he had long, loose wavy black hair that he kept in a bun sometimes. His eyes were honey colored with golden specs in the center.
Damian shared the same tan colored skin and the same hair color and style, except he kept some of his locks in small thin braids and the rest loose. He was leaner than his brother, but also had the same muscular build and wide shoulders, and his eyes were dark brown.
Joseph was smart and athletic, and he was on the football team with Kevin. Damian was smart, but he was more of a know it all and was arrogant. Continuously, he would constantly be in trouble with his teachers.
Their parents, Andrew and Cara, had given birth to the boys after they had turned into werewolves. Like Andrew's brother Braun and his wife Lynn, they were also pregnant when they had turned.

Braun and Lynn had given birth to a baby girl. They named her Amanda, but they called her Mandy for short. Mandy was short and petite, like her mother, but she was strong and muscular, like her father. She had long, dark brown hair and gray eyes that sparkled. She also shared the same tan-colored skin as the rest of her family. Mandy was also smart and very witty, but she acted like a good ball most of the time.
Leonard had explained to the parents that any child born to the pack, after the parents had turned, would be labeled as purebreds. Also, since Joseph, Damian and Mandy were the first purebreds born into the pack, it made them very special to him.
Seemingly, he wondered what amazing things the children would be able to do and what kind of abilities they would possess. The serum didn't weaken as it passed onto an offspring; it became stronger as it passed to the next generation. Leonard knew he had to be patient.
The children were still young, however, he knew that they would fully turn into their true forms soon. He also had made the decision that the offspring could attend school in Glee. With one exception, they were to come straight home after school, and the children were not allowed to leave the werewolf community after dark.
Also, Leonard believed that Anna and her friends were long gone, and he hadn't bothered with them since he had escaped. Evidently, he knew that he had to fully be prepared to take them on again, because once he started the war, he knew that Anna and her team would come running.
Seemingly, Leonard knew that after he had escaped that the military and Anna and her friends were going to stay in the city and be on guard just in case he returned. He didn’t realize that his foes from his past lived in Glee, and they themselves had started a family of their own.
Leonard had always been a firm believer when it came to getting an education. He didn't want a bunch of dumb, rabid dogs in his army. No, he needed soldiers that had half a brain, and knew how to use them. The thought never crossed his mind that Anna and Tom might have offspring.

Andrew, Cara, and the boys were the lucky ones out of the pack. They had gotten to keep their home, and they didn't have to live behind the walls of Leonard's fortress. Andrew and Cara had bought a home on the outskirts of Glee, long before the boys were born. It was a four-bedroom home, with two bathrooms.
The four bedrooms and full bathroom were on the upper level, and the downstairs level had an entryway, living room, dining room, kitchen, and another full bathroom. The basement was where the washer and dryer were kept.
The green wild forest actually started in their backyard, and their land stretched ten acres back into the healthy, untouched, free land. Andrew had bought the land to go hunting on, but now it was the home of a secret werewolf community. The backyard stretched about an acre back before the forest began, and there was a dirt trail that led back to the werewolf community.

Braun, Lynn and their daughter were the next lucky ones. They were able to keep their cottage they had built just on the outside of Leonard's wall.
Seemingly, Leonard had developed the ability to manipulate the forest and build a thick, vine-like fence around the community. The enormous thick vines had large sharp thorns on them, almost like a rosebush. Seemingly, he had made a barrier to protect the community from the outside world.
Braun and Lynn's cottage was quaint and small looking from the outside. From an outsider's point of view, it looked like a child's forest playhouse. It had large flat rocks for a roof. Braun had used thick fresh moss to fill in the gaps to protect their home from the weather.
On the inside, when you walked through the front door, there was a small hallway with one large bedroom and a stairwell that led down. At the bottom of the stairs, there was a living room, kitchen, bathroom, and Braun and Lynn's bedroom.
After begging and pleading, her parents let Mandy have the room upstairs because she wanted to be able to have windows. Mandy hated the fact that they had to live underground, and her new house felt more like a dungeon than a home.
She spent as much time as she could with her Aunt Cara and Uncle Andrew. They had a bedroom for her, and she was welcome anytime she wanted to come over. She felt loved and wanted there, where at home she felt like she was a burden on her parents.

Leonard had brought in some people from his company and made the community into a real town. He had a sewer system, an electrical system and water system built. He had really given the werewolves a chance at a real normal life. He decided to call the small community Haven, and he had his own secluded cave that looked over the community. He liked his wild animal side, and he liked the fact that he didn't need the spoils of humanity any longer. Leonard was not human anymore, and he wouldn't change that fact if he had the chance to.
**************
Joseph and Mandy didn't like Leonard at all, and they didn't like the fact that everyone was so quick to name the beast Alpha of the pack. They didn't believe that Leonard was even a part of their genealogy. That crazed beast-man made up some of the stupidest rules they have ever heard of. Seemingly, Damian didn't share the same amount of dislike for the creature as his brother and cousin did, and he didn't mind the rules, except the one where they couldn't hang out with friends outside of Haven.
***************
Joseph, Damian and Mandy were friends with Kevin, Jasmine and a girl named Chelsea. Damian liked Chelsea a lot. They had all gone to the same school their whole lives, so it was inevitable that they would become friends. Small town, small school.
However, what Joseph, Damian, and Mandy didn't know was that Jasmine and Kevin were the offspring of the forbidden families. They had thought that Jasmine and Kevin were just normal kids, like Chelsea was. Joseph had developed a crush on Jasmine in the sixth grade, but he always thought that she and Kevin were a thing. Later on that school year, he had found out that Jasmine and Kevin were cousins. Besides, his cousin was the one who fancied Kevin. Damian didn't know that Chelsea had a crush on him, too.
****************
Chelsea had short wavy blonde hair with bright blue tips. She was medium built and had been favored after her mother in the busty chest department. She was quiet most of the time at school when they were around Damian, but she was a chatterbox any other time, and Jasmine loved her best friend just the way she was. When Damian found out she liked him too, he couldn't believe it. He believed that she could do so much better than him, but at the same time, she was into him and he liked it.
****************
One Friday at school, Kevin had asked Joseph and Damian to come to his house for the night to study for an upcoming history exam. Jasmine had asked Mandy and Chelsea to come to her house that same night for a sleepover. When Joseph, Damian and Mandy got home and asked their parents, they were told no, and it was against the rules.
Leonard's stupid rule, the pups, as he called them, were to come straight home after school and practices. Joseph was allowed to leave for football game events as long as his parents accompanied him, so Damian had decided to join the football team, and Mandy joined the cheerleading squad so they could go out with Joseph.
Joseph, Damian and Mandy could agree on one fact. Leonard was cruel. What the kids didn't know was that a rule was put in place for their protection. Leonard and their parents were waiting for the children to turn for their first time. They believed that Joseph, Damian and Mandy would turn at night on a high full moon.
***************
As far as everyone knew from their experience, that first turn was the worst. When the phasing process began for them, the rage chromosome was the strongest. The chromosome turns you into a raging blood-thirsting wolf-humanoid-looking creature, looking for the first victim to bite.
Their parents feared if they let their children spend the night at their friend's house, and they turned, they would end up turning or even killing their friends and family. Until their parents knew that their children had gone through the phasing process and gained control of themselves, it was best to keep the kids home and avoid those possible situations.
