Faye's POV “Carl, enough!” Sibyl's voice cut through the darkness, resolute and commanding. Her face emerged from the shadows, and beneath her pointed hat, her weary but determined eyes locked onto Carl and me. She offered me a small, reassuring smile, one so familiar and warm that it made my chest tighten with emotion. I couldn't find the words; all I could do was whisper her name. “Sibyl…” She gave me a comforting look, as if to say, “Don’t be afraid.” Carl’s expression shifted drastically. “How are you here? How did you escape?” I froze. Did that mean Sibyl had been captured by the foxes?
