I read and studied until my eyes were nearly cross eyed.
When I did finally stop for the day, I was proud at how much I had accomplished, seeing as I was suffering from a head injury. There was very little left to do, and I would be able to handle it quickly tomorrow, which then left most of the day open for time with Timmy.
After putting my books and notes away, I tried laying down but my mind was racing a mile a minute. It was hard at work trying to puzzle everything out, even though I had very little to go on. Just a gut feeling and a virtual stranger’s word that Senator Ross was innocent in all of this.
Why was I trusting Axel again? Was it because he made me feel like there were butterflies in my tummy? Was it because he had made me feel emotions and feelings I hadn’t felt
