Brandy “Oh my word, it is gorgeous.” I whispered, staring out along the horizon. The moon was shining brightly in the night sky, which illuminated the earth. The ocean was calm tonight and the sounds of the gentle waves crashing on the shoreline were soothing. Axel scooted closer till our sides were pressed together. Draping an arm around my shoulders, he pulled me into his warmth as the cool, night breeze blew off the sea. We sat in companionable silence for a while, just enjoying each other’s company and taking in nature’s beauty. I had to admit, tonight made me more comfortable with Axel.
