Brandy That night, I laid in bed for what felt like eons, staring at the ceiling. My mind was racing a mile a minute, trying to figure out what was going on with Axel. After seeing each other for coffee, we hadn’t said more than a handful of words to each other. He seemed to be keeping his distance. Was it on purpose? I’m sure he was busy with whatever he had to participate in with his father. Yet, I still didn’t quite understand. Usually, if someone was truly interested in the other, they would seek conversation.
