It was instant. The wall he threw up into place. Was Nate onto something?
I mean, he had to be, right?
But, I didn't like where my mind was taking me. I didn't like how I was suddenly suspicious of Axel. Well, moreso than I already was. I wanted to believe he wasn't a two faced liar. I wanted to believe he was being honest and truthful with me. However, I was connecting the dots between him and Courtney. Were they working together? Was there some deeper rooted plan going on that no one was aware of?
Keep an open mind now Brandy, I told myself. It could just be a bad breakup and she's still hung up on him. Maybe she's psycho? Maybe there's still something going on between them? Not unlike myself and Nate?
