3rd person POV:-
14 January, 2024
It was seventh alarm of 7:30 am and sky was still dark from clouds. Aaron forcefully opened his eyes. He was having a massive headache, swollen eyes, sore throat crying from yesterday night, still he has to wake up for his important meeting in office.
He forced himself up and went to their shared bedroom. There he saw love of his life, Kenneth, whom he fought with yesterday night. Not only yesterday but from last couple of months they're fighting almost every night.
He sighed and went to bathroom. When he came out fresh smell of toast and omelette hit his nostrils. He felt guilt in his heart for fighting with him but what can he do when Kenneth is not trying to understand him.....!!
He got ready for his work and went to their living room. Kenneth was behind counter preparing something in pan. He saw Aaron and came towards him with a cup of strawberry milk which he knows is the best to lift up Aaron's mood.
"Goodmorning Aaron, sit and have some breakfast" Kenneth smiled and said.
" No it's ok Kenneth I am not feeling hungry, you go ahead." Aaron said without looking at Kenneth.
"Aaron, hungry or not you shouldn't be empty stomach. It's bad for your health." Kenneth insisted.
Kenneth knows that Aaron is still hurt and upset from yesterday's night and he also felt very guilty. He can't see Aaron upset ever. He can do anything for a slight smile on Aaron's lips. There was silence for few seconds until kenneth decided to break it again.
"Aaron, I am sorry for yesterday. I didn't meant to shout on you, it's just that.... I don't know h...how to put it but.....something is strange, it's making me restless, I feel like.....like something is ......I don't know I...I am sorry. Please don't be angry on food, please" and a tear escaped from his eyes.
Aaron felt very guilty seeing him in this state. It was not his fault also. He can see anything but not Kenneth's tears. He holds Kenneth' hand and said.
"It's ok Ken and I am sorry too....I just don't know how to confront my parents. I am afraid that....that...can we eat breakfast. We both are getting late for our work hmmm." Aaron tried to speak but he was still tired from all the shouting from yesterday. He doesn't wants to start this again.
Kenneth smiled and nodded. They ate their breakfast in silence not to say anymore stupid thing to hurt other. After breakfast Aaron took his bag and went towards main door when Kenneth called him.
"Aaron...."
Aaron turned and looked at Kenneth thinking that again he has forgot something important.
"hmm.....??" Aaron asked.
Kenneth came near him, kissed on his temple and hugged him tightly "I love you sooo much Aaro and I will always do, no matter what. Whenever you will come I will always wait for you. Please smile more....hmm..."
Aaron buried his head in the crook of Kenneth's neck and inhaled his scent which always makes him calm. They broke their hug. Kenneth kissed him on his lips, a kiss which has only love, assurance, honesty and promises in it. It was not easy for them but still their love has came this far and now they can't let go of eachother this easily.
After that Kenneth moved back where he was standing earlier. Aaron smiled and said 'thanks' and then turned towards door and twisted the doorknob when
"Aaron...." Kenneth called him.
Aaron turned again and saw Kenneth from far. They were only few steps far away but Aaron was feeling like Kenneth is beyond his reach. He saw his face and a sudden pain hit his heart. He wanted to run and hold Kenneth but something was stopping him and he didn't liked it. Something was off but he didn't know what.
"Hmm.....??" Aaron asked
"Nothing" Kenneth said and smiled a little, tears beaming in his eyes.
"............" Aaron said nothing because he doesn't knows what he can say. That pain was increasing making a hole in his heart. He turned again, twisted the doorknob, opened the door, went outside and closed the door behind his back.

A tear escape from his eyes and rolled down to his cheeks. He was not able to see Kenneth in that state. Kenneth wanted good for both of them but he was not brave enough to face consequences. This kind of fight is not new for him but today something is not right. He is feeling like something is reaping them apart, like his soul is missing. And this weird feeling bugging his mind and heart. With heavy heart and legs he started walking for his office.
