“You alright, yeah?” Everett asked as I sat down on the chair in the compartment. Elle and Ginny went to the concession booth to get some water and snacks.
“Yeah,” I said as my stomach finally settled down. “That was insane.”
“What the hell happened?” he asked.
“Ludo,” I said. “He tried to transport or teleport me since I’m off the territory.”
“What the hell does that mean?” he gasped.
“He can sense me when I’m on neutral ground,” I said. “Like the second I’m out of the boundaries of a tribe.”
“That’s insane,” he said. “I’ve never heard of anything like that.”
“He can do a lot of things I’ve never seen before,” I said. “Freyja’s got some hidden talents herself.”
