Chapter 1
Ginny “Gin!” Elias yelled from the bathroom. “Are you up yet? We need to go!” I ignored him and turned over in the bed, sweeping the blankets over me and burrowing deeper into the pillow. I didn’t want to get out of bed; we were up late again last night making love, but I can’t help myself. It’s been two years since I’ve been marked and mated to this man and I can’t seem to ever get my fill of him. “Gin!” I heard his voice clearer. “Ginerva Gladys Connors! Will you get up?” “I don’t wanna!” I yelled out from beneath my covers. “Can’t we just stay home?” “No, we need to go to the castle and meet with wedding planner,” he said. “Come on, we’re going to be late. I knew we shouldn’t have gone for the third round.” “But it’s always the best one,” I said and flipped the covers off me to wiggle my eyebrows at him. Goddess he was the most handsome man I’d ever laid eyes on. He was tall, dark, handsome with beautiful blue eyes. Oh Goddess and the way he fills me up time and time again. After my birthday, it didn’t take long for us to decide to move out of the castle, so we took one of the cabins on the territory. We were within walking distance, so it wasn’t too bad. I think we christened every surface of our cottage the first two nights we had moved in. Just thinking about it was getting my hormones revved up. “Angel, I can smell you from here,” Elias chuckled. “Think about baseball or baby animals or something.” “I can’t help the effect you have on me,” I moaned seductively and bit my lip. I saw his eyes flash red before he shook the lust away. “Stop that, we need to go,” he said and turned around. “We can’t keep being late, Ginny. I love you and I want to marry you, it’s been too long already.” “Fine,” I groaned and sat up. “But don’t think you’ll be getting any later.” “Please,” he said with a cocky smirk and leaned in close, fanning his cool minty breath across my face. “I don’t think you could resist me if you tried.” “Oh really?” I said feeling my competitiveness spark up inside me. “Is that a challenge, Sir Elias?” “It could be,” he said with a c****d eyebrow. “You want to play that game?” “Aye,” I said with a nod. “Name your terms.” “Alright,” he said and straightened up. “I bet you can’t go for twenty-four hours.” “Bullocks,” I snorted. “Give me some credit, love.” “Okay, three days,” he said after a thought. “No five coz you’re a wee bit spiteful when you get cranked up. I bet you give in after five days.” “How long do you think you can go without giving in?” I asked. “Babe I went six years without it,” he said arrogantly. “I think I can handle it better than you.” “Maybe,” I said matching his tone and sitting up on my knees on the bed. “But you haven’t gone more than a day since we mated.” I slid the night shirt I had slipped on after round three over my head, exposing my bare skin beneath. Elias’s eyes widened and he licked his lips. Slowly I raised my breast to my mouth and sucked a n****e into my mouth. He bit his lips harder.  “Alright, five days then?” He groaned. “I’m already regretting this.” “Rules are no trying to seduce the other person for at least twenty-four hours, then it’s fair game after that,” I said. “Why do I do these things to myself?” He questioned with his eyes closed. “Fine, deal.” “Time starts now!” I yelled before jumping out of bed and ran to the bathroom. I could hear him groan exasperatedly as I jumped into the shower. It didn’t take long to get showered and dressed. Elias was in the kitchen putting coffee into our to-go mugs. I had never had coffee before I moved into the cottage, nobody would let me because I was always wired anyway. But Elias let me try it and it really helped me to calm down like an adverse reaction. “Hello?” I called out as we entered the castle. “Annie Gin-Gin!” Screamed a small strawberry blond girl as she rushed to meet me. She had a hard time saying her Ts so her aunties sound like Annie. “Neve!” I cried and scooped her up. “Where’s mommy and daddy?” “Trying to get her to eat her breakfast,” Tasha sighed as she came into the hall. Her belly was swollen again with their second child. “He talks me into another one but yet can’t help keep an eye on the dragonling we already have.” “Mommy!” Neve squealed and held out her arms for her. “Oh honey I can’t lift you up any more, mommy’s belly is too big with your brother,” Tasha said. “You want a dragon ride?” Elias whispered in Neve’s ear and she squealed before jumping into his arms. “Thanks, Elias,” Tasha said and we all followed him into the main room with a roaring little girl announcing our arrival. “There You are,” mom called out from the dining room. “I’ve been waiting for you.” “Sorry,” I said as I kissed her cheek and hugged dad. “We were up late.” “Well you’re here now at least,” she said. “Did you get the email from Elle?” “About the dress?” I asked and she nodded. “Yeah, I replied. I told her to go ahead and give the designer my measurements. That should give them a few months to have it done.” “Which designer is this?” Elias asked. “The one in Rome,” I answered. “Elle and Everett are there for that conference. She’ll be back next week.” “You’re having your dress made in Rome?” He asked. “Well yeah,” I said. “Elle said she met THE Hilda Macaroelli and said she’d design it for me as a favor to Elle!” “Oh my! Not THE Helga Macaroni!” Cried my wise ass of an older brother. “I can’t believe it!” “Shut it,” I snapped. “Not in front of my grand baby,” mom ordered. “Ian don’t distract your sister, we have a lot to do today.” “Daddy’s funny!” giggled Neve. “See, she thinks I’m funny,” Ian picking her up and sitting on his lap. “Where’d you run off too? I thought we were eating breakfast.” “Annie Gin-Gin came home,” she giggled as he tickled her and handed her some bacon. “Mmm..yum!” “So when is the wedding planner getting here?” I asked. “She will be here soon,” she said checking her watch. “You have enough time to eat something quick; so stop bickering with your brother and start looking over these samples.” “Okay, okay,” I sighed before spooning some eggs and pudding onto my plate and dug in. “What are you doing for flowers?” Tasha asked as she sat down to eat some breakfast herself. “Tulips mainly,” I said. “I told dad he could have free reign with the flowers, but tulips had to be incorporated. So he’s made it a secret mission.” “So you wont know until the wedding?” she asked. “Oh I bet he’s loving that.” “He is,” I chuckled. My dad has always been a big quiet teddy bear my whole life. He didn’t say much, but he didn’t have too. You’d never know that one of his favorite things to do was to garden and grow beautiful exotic things in his greenhouses. Yes, plural – greenhouses. There’s three on our territory and each houses hundreds of different plants. My dad was excited when Elle asked him to do her flowers for the wedding and he did an amazing job. Naturally I had to have him do mine and he was ecstatic to get to surprise me with something. I looked over at my future husband who was half eating and half playing with Neve. I know that he was going to be an amazing father one day. Some day far far far away from now.
