“We have a plan,” I said. “Have you heard anything about an attack?”
“No,” she replied. “But they usually don’t tell me until they’re about to leave. What’s your plan?”
“I’m going to draw Ludo and Surt out to Ireland,” I said. “They’ll attack Black Wing and while we’re busy with that, Ginny and my friend Elle are going to get you and bring you to another tribe in Ireland until its safe for you to come home.”
“Why aren’t you coming?” she asked innocently.
“Because I need to be here to help protect my tribe,” I answered. “Besides, it would seem suspicious if they were here and I wasn’t. I wouldn’t want them to figure out that we were taking you.”
